Open Door Mission True Light Church

The Saturday Bible Club was initiated as a result of the number of unchurched youth attending the summer camp. In an effort to keep youth connected to the Word of God, ODM doors are open every first and third Saturdays for the purpose of Bible study. The title of the systematic study is “Foot Steps of Faith.” Many of these youth do not attend church on Sundays, and because of the seed that is planted in July during summer camp, their attendance on Saturday keeps them connected to Jesus. It is our prayer that the doors will remain opened as this program is perfected and that every youth will have an opportunity to start their journey with Jesus in Genesis.

Open Door Mission True Light Church Thursday After-school; Truancy and Abstinence Program (Discovering Dignity)

Youth who attend this program is guaranteed a safe, loving, caring and enriching environment to spend their afternoons. These programs are key to enabling them to become productive adults. Providing this haven decreases crimes, truancy, teen pregnancy and alcohol and drug abuse. It has been proven that students in such programs excel academically. The following combination of activities structures our program: Journalism, reading, computer, games, parent and youth workshops and field trips. An end of the year

Open Door Mission True Light Church VBS Junior Leadership Program

Training youth the importance of becoming spirit filled, loving, caring, and productive leaders start on the first day of camp. Our youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow. Those who participate receive their parent’s consent to participate in every phase of operating the summer camp. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for interested Campers who are in the 7^th grade through high school to participate in a leadership and camp counselor skill building program.
